We are Jason and Denise Kerner. We have owned and operated Kerner Construction since 2005, specializing in residential construction. In 2014, we decided to switch our focus to installing residential fiberglass swimming pools. We have a young family and wanted to take advantage of North Dakota’s short summers! So we installed our own fiberglass swimming pool and never looked back.
Our goal is to bring our customers the backyard oasis of their dreams in the form of their very own in-ground fiberglass swimming pool. We pride ourselves in “Quality Construction” and strive every day to meet and exceed customers’ expectations. We have aligned ourselves with three high-quality fiberglass pool builders to offer our customers a wide range of pool shapes, sizes, colors and options. You are sure to find the pool that is perfect for you! We also offer high quality equipment packages that truly stand up to the North Dakota elements.

You can describe Jason in one statement, “Jack of All Trades”. He is a perfectionist and strives to do a quality job each and every time. His success is measured by his customer’s satisfaction and nothing else. He loves what he does and approaches new projects as a challenge waiting to be conquered. He is a veteran of the Army National Guard and has a full-time job outside of installing pools. He spends his “spare time” volunteering with his son’s Cub Scout pack, camping, fishing, hunting, and, of course, swimming.

OWNER/GENERAL MANAGER
Her professional dedication and sincere concern for the team and our customers keeps us on task and ensures your backyard oasis dream comes to life. Denise has great design taste and a good eye for special layouts. When Denise is not working on pool projects, she is kept busy being a wife to Jason and a mom to three kids, Perry, Emily and Jacey. She enjoys baking, swimming, camping and just spending time with family. She volunteers with Cub Scouts and wherever else she can.

POOL CONSTRUCTION FOREMAN
Bernie gives every job the professional “Dutch” touch and it shows in his first year in the pool building trade. His dedication leaves behind a pool that will look great and last you for decades to come. He enjoys spending family time with his wife, Aida and their four boys that keep him just as busy when he is not at work. He also enjoys hunting, fishing, aviation and volunteers as a Scout leader.

SENIOR EQUIPMENT OPERATOR
Kevin has 35 years of operating just about any piece of heavy equipment known to man. With his experience and ability, we can guarantee your pool excavation and yard grading needs will be done to perfection. Kevin is always willing to help whenever he can. He and his wife, Audrey, have four grown children (Jason, Casey, Kayla and Kim) and eight grandchildren. When not working you will find him at his lake cabin fishing or making his own moon shine.
LANCE

LEAD INSTALLER
One of the hardest working people on our team, Lance is always energized and ready to get the job done. He keeps the team motivated with his fun spirited attitude. Lance is a U.S. Air Force Veteran and enjoys spending time with family. He is married to Kayla and they have a son, Aidan and a daughter named Quinn. When not working he will often be hunting or fishing. Oh, and we can’t forget to mention he is a die hard Raiders fan.
